Higher-voltage fast chargers add heat without materially improving the charge time on a 320 mAh cell.

Do not leave it flat for months. Top the cell up to around half before putting it away for a season.

Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth only - paper towels will haze the coating.

Carry it on a separate split ring if your key bundle is heavy; a 24-gram light does not enjoy being ground against a dozen keys.

Avoid running it on maximum output inside a closed pocket. Heat builds fast in a 24-gram aluminium body.

Check the key chain attachment point periodically - the ring, not the light, is the part most likely to fail first.

If the switch feels gritty or output drops sharply, stop using it and contact Fenix support rather than dismantling the body.

Store it where you can find it in the dark, with the head facing up so the switch is protected.
