About Design

Fenrir is a functional EDC knife with bold aesthetic lines.  The large belly and sharp point make it versatile for every day use.  Multiple deployment options and versatile ergonomics make it a great knife to handle.

 

About Designer

Greg Schob is custom knife maker and is currently serving in the US Coast Guard on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. A metal fabricator by trade, he began making knives about 5 years ago. He enjoys making knives, leather, and anything EDC related. His goal is to become a full time maker when he retires from the Coast Guard in 2023 bringing unique and functional designs to the community.

Versatile Harpoon CPMS35VN/Damascus Blade
The Fenrir features a classic harpoon-style CPMS35VN/Damascus blade, with the broad curved belly of the blade standing out as a core highlight. The curvature of this belly is precisely calculated: when slicing, it fits the surface of ingredients to reduce resistance, enabling even and neat cuts; when piercing, it allows for precise force application to prevent blade wobble, providing users with a stable and controlled operating experience.

Ergonomic Micro-Milled Water Ripple Texture Handle

The Fenrir is equipped with a handle optimized for grip comfort and texture, crafted using "Micro-Milled Water Ripple Texture" technology. Through precision micro-milling, layered water ripple patterns are carved onto the handle surface.
This design not only increases friction between the palm and the handle, preventing slipping even when hands are wet or wearing gloves, but also reduces the contact area between the handle and the palm, minimizing stuffiness during long-term use. The edges of the handle are rounded and chamfered to avoid pressure points on the palm, further enhancing grip comfort. Whether for high-frequency single-use operations or prolonged outdoor use, it keeps the hand feeling relaxed.

Reliable Frame Lock & Smooth Deployment
The Fenrir adopts the industry-recognized Frame Lock structure as its locking mechanism. Meanwhile, it retains the practical Thumb Studs design. The surface of the thumb studs is treated with anti-slip patterns; combined with the smooth rebound characteristics of the Frame Lock, users can quickly push the thumb studs with a single finger to deploy the blade—no jamming occurs during the process, and the opening stroke is smooth.
