To ensure long-term mechanical reliability during high-pressure work, a hardened steel insert is attached directly to the titanium locking arm. This component guarantees rock-solid steel-on-steel contact against the blade tang, eliminating titanium lock-stick completely when you disengage the blade single-handedly.
