This specialized steel delivers a razor-fine edge with excellent chip resistance, ideal for precision cutting tasks. The 3.55" blade undergoes cryogenic treatment, achieving 61-62 HRC hardness for superior edge retention. Finished in grey PVD stonewash, it pairs with a comfortable grey G10 handle and reliable liner lock mechanism. At just 2.75 oz, this compact folder measures 7.92" overall and accommodates both left and right-hand carry via its deep-carry pocket clip. Designed by Grzegorz Grabarski, it combines performance with everyday portability for EDC enthusiasts.
AEB-L Blade Introduction
AEB-L is a specialized razor blade steel celebrated for its exceptional toughness, ease of sharpening, and ability to take an incredibly fine, razor-sharp edge. Thanks to its uniform microstructure with very small, evenly distributed chromium carbides, it offers excellent stability and resistance to chipping, making it a favorite for kitchen and thin-geometry knives. However, its primary trade-off is relatively low wear resistance, meaning it loses its peak sharpness faster than high-carbide powder steels. Additionally, while stainless, its lower free chromium content requires basic care to prevent corrosion.
