Its 20 mm bead-blasted blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel, valued for corrosion resistance and straightforward sharpening. With a hardness of 58–61 HRC, the blade offers practical, low-maintenance performance, though abrasive cutting may call for more frequent edge touch-ups. A green titanium handle with a tortoise pattern adds distinctive character, while the button-lock mechanism provides a convenient way to secure the blade open. Measuring 53 mm overall and 33 mm closed, this lightweight knife weighs just 24.5 g. The blade is 2.5 mm thick. Made in China, the Turtle BM20K pairs a striking finish with compact proportions for carry-ready utility.

14C28N Blade Introduction

14C28N is a high-value budget-to-midrange stainless steel that excels in corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening, making it a low-maintenance workhorse for EDC and wet environments, but it falls short of premium steels in edge retention and requires more frequent touch-ups when cutting highly abrasive materials like cardboard.
