XW42 Steel Knives

XW42 steel is a high-carbon,high-chromium alloy tool steel with excellent wear resistance and toughness.It has a carbon content of 1.55%,chromium 11.80%,molybdenum 0.80%,and vanadium 0.80%.This steel achieves a hardness of 59–62 HRC after heat treatment.It is known for its high wear resistance,high compressive strength,and good dimensional stability during quenching.XW42 is commonly used in molds,such as precision stamping dies,cold extrusion dies,and cold forging dies,as well as in cutting tools and other applications requiring high durability and resistance to wear.
