About Designer

Scott Stills of Edgy Bladeworks is a custom knife maker based in Asheville, North Carolina. A part-time maker working toward a full-time career, Scott has been a knife collector for nearly eight years and began making knives about four years ago.
Like many makers, he started with fixed blades, but his long-term goal was always to create folding knives—a goal he soon achieved. Deeply passionate about knifemaking, Scott believes it is what he was meant to do.
He named his company Edgy Bladeworks to reflect his darker sense of humor and appreciation for bold, unconventional forms of art. Knifemaking is his true passion, and he looks forward to seeing how far he can take his craft and career.
